Our office is located on the 23rd floor. That is a lot of stops when the elevator is full and if every button is selected it means longer for the next group to wait.
So the boss’s practice is to get in and not push any buttons (with the occasional …) and take the stairs from the closest floor. The exercise if of course a bonus.
On the exercise front I am impressed to see how some companies encourage use of the stairs. At Lewis’s mother’s work you can calculate your climb to the top of Mount Everest. Not as hard as everyone makes out apparently….
At a hospital nearby our office you can count your calories as you head up the stairs.
And of course being Korea there is even an App which allows you to check your progress!
