Korea Ginseng Corporation (KGC), proprietors of the popular deer velvet Cheon-Nok brand, has added two more deer velvet products to the brand’s portfolio. Whist KGC were developing the products, Deer Industry New Zealand (DINZ) provided close support in order to help them better understand the New Zealand deer industry. DINZ has worked with KGC by engaging in joint research projects, providing researcher training though MPI, preparing a seemingly endless number of documents and planning guided tours of New Zealand for KGC’s procurement staff, executives and sales people. In the case of sales people, there has already been 3 groups visit New Zealand and another one is planned.
